Two of the most amazing talents that Philly and Washington D.C. have produced will be on the show on Tuesday! Multi-faceted, multi-genre guitar wizard, David P. Stevens, joins us at two p.m. Eastern time. Watching David spin his magic over the past several years has been glorious. I first heard "The Shedd" when Baltimores contemporary Jazz station was cooking full-time. To hear the production, the interplay of guest artists Gerald Veasley and Carol Riddick, and the skills of this writer/arranger - besides the obvious over-the-top licks - well, it has stuck in my soul to this day. "Epiphany" - Davids new CD - is doing the same. Gerald joins his friend again, as does Carol - and they are joined by Gerald Albright - who plays BASS to coincide with Davids BAD, BAD guitar! Besides the fact that its one of the coolest names in the world, its attached fondly to the group Afro Blue. The Howard University stars that won the hearts of thousands on NBCs "Sing-Off" a year or so back. Integriti is beautiful, inside and out - and that voice packs an unearthly punch. That pulls you in and wont let you go. The prestigious Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland, knows that this classically trained Peabody scholar is someone extraordinary - and that is why Integriti was chosen to be Artist-in-Residence this season.
