World Kitchen Presents Wedding Day Radio: David Rothstein - May 30,2013

Never scoff at a wedding band. For among those musicians may be cats who've played with some of the biggest acts of all time. That's the message from The Wedding 101 Show host David Rothstein, whose day job is conducting his own ensemble at receptions throughout the Midwest. “You want a band who's excited about playing your wedding, who don't see it as something beneath them—that playing in clubs is the ‘real' musician work,” he says. “Our male vocalist has toured with Elton John and Stevie Wonder. And our female vocalist has toured with Aretha Franklin and Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. We've also got Grammy-winning musicians in the band who do play in clubs, and have recorded hit CDs.”
